Five Steps to Building Your Ardyss Business
When you first heard about Ardyss, you were fired up a ready to go, right? You had big dreams and aspirations of making it to Platinum President in Ardyss. You have seen and heard of all the Platinum Presidents and you want to be amongst the greatest in the company.
So you signed up now what...
When starting in any business, weather it is a traditional business or a home based business, or even a MLM, you need to have a plan... Because we all know when you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
So here are a few steps to help you get started...
1. Make a Plan: Get out a pen and paper a write down exactly what you need to do. Starting with supplies, at the very least you need business cards, how else will people know know that you are in business. You will also need at least three measuring tapes, product brochures, and at least one t-shirt saying "Ask me how to Drop 3 Sizes in 10 Minutes". Next you need to get a memory jogger and make a list of everybody that you know. I know it's old school, but some things still work. Last but certainly not least schedule at least four showcases. They can be home showcases or an individual showcase, and remember to book a showcase from a showcase.
2. Become an Expert of Ardyss: Know your products! I cannot stress this enough, the last thing you want is a customer to ask you a question and you don't know the answer. You want to come across as knowledgeable and as a leader. If you don't know all the ins and outs of the compensation plan, utilize the 3-way call or the 24/7 showcase call 641.715.3900 pin 99649#.
3. Stay Close to the Fire: There are tons of weekly and daily calls that are going on all the time. Calls are going on morning , noon and night. There are calls for the Men of Ardyss, calls on nutrition, calls to help you close your prospects, so there is no reason for you not to be on somebody's call. Many Ardyss reps are on Facebook and give good marketing tips as well.
4. Attack the Internet: Internet marketing can boost your downline tremendously. In this day in age you have to have a presence on the internet. To make your presence known you need to create profiles on the top social networking sites. You at least need the four basic social networks, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and LinkedIn to introduce your self to people to let them know who you are. I know you see youtube and think "Who me, I can't do videos!" Trust me you can. Just be yourself, you already know the information, not tell the world! This will help your viewers and prospects get to know you, because people buy from people they know. This will position you as a Leader. For the more advanced internet marketer, you should use a funnel system like Maximum Leverage to help you earn money while marketing your business. Systems like MLSP will give you the tools an knowledge to dominate the internet.
5. Treat Your Business Like a Business: Set aside a real home office — not just a closet or a shelf — exclusively for your business. Set real work hours that are dedicated to your business, that means no kids, not phone calls unless it is business related, and NO T.V. Like top Network Marketer Myron Golden said "If you are not making $10,000 a month, then turn off the T.V." Try this and see how much you will get done. Set goals each week that you want to reach, and start working toward them.
Doing these five steps will absolutely put you on the fast track to being a Platinum President in Ardyss.

Ardyss SuperStars!!!!
A big congratulations is in order for two of my team members in Monroe, LA. This couple is really doing some amazing things in Louisiana and they are just blowing this business up!! In just two short months Derrick and O'Shawny Washington have both advanced in rank!! Derrick hit supervisor and O'Shawny hit coordinator. How awesome is that!!!

Marketing Your Business-- Online vs. Offline
When I first start with my company, I did everything that my upline told me to do...Pass out flyers, host showcasing parties, cold calling, wear a button to attract attention to me, etc, you name it I did it. I thought I was the marketing queen, I would come up with all types of catchy flyers to get customers attention. I would go out day after day prospecting to strangers, who probably thought I was crazy, I would put marketing materials on windshields, in baskets at the grocery store, and many more weird places.
Don't get me wrong, I was getting a few leads from my marketing efforts, but what happened in the end, I was spending more money than I was making! I thought to myself "This is ridiculous, what am I doing wrong." Like many other people in network marketing I was about to give up and go back to a regular 9 to 5 (J.O.B), Deep in my heart I really did not want to do that.
I said "It has to be easier than this" and indeed there was. That is when I discovered internet marketing.
The internet is a tool that provides you with a way to connect with millions and show off your marketing skills to the world. What I discovered is that with the internet you become the hunted and not the hunter. On the internet we use a marketing technique called "attraction marketing."
When you provide relevant content to people, and provide them what they are searching for the you have struck GOLD!!! Using the correct attraction marketing system will ensure that you will go from 0-1 leads per day to 100 leads per day and will definitely EXPLODE YOUR DOWNLINE!
When I found this out, I was amazed to find out that I could have people actually LOOKING FOR ME with out having my feet hurt from standing up all day in heels. For me the best thing about internet marketing is that you can do it from home. I can spend more time with my son and have more "me time". That was the most important to me.
So now I spend my days (only a few hours a day) doing article marketing, social media, (you know twitter and facebook) and doing relevant videos on youtube. I spend a few hours on this and I am done.

This Week...
This week has been a long and knowledgeable week for me. On Tuesday I had the pleasure of going to another training and business meeting with Executive President Jessica Johnson. This lady is absolutely awesome. She gives some much energy and has so much passion she reminds me every time why I joined Ardyss. I took a new rep that I just signed up with me, to help him get started right with Ardyss. I learned some new things and heard some amazing testimonies of how the nutritional product have helped some people.
After leaving the training I came home a started working on some recipes and combos with the nutritional products. I will post those later on. I also started thinking about my marketing skills and what I can do to enhance them. Being that the Ardyss Extravaganza is Feb. 13th I need to be on point with my business. If you don't know what the Ardyss Extravaganza is then you are missing out! The extravaganza is an annual company event that recognizes our accomplishments and sets our new goals for the future. It’s a magical experience that showcases everything new and exciting in Ardyss products, programs and service. This is an event that cannot be missed, and I cannot wait.
Wednesday I got out in my neighborhood and introduced the business to my neighbors. My neighbors are awesome, some purchased some products from me, and some are interested in the business. Hopefully they give me a chance to change their lives too. Then on Friday I actually got out in the rain and was still pushing the products. I even surprised myself, LOL. As you all know rain is like krytonite to a womans hair, LOL. Other than that I have just been learning all that I can about Ardyss, network marketing and how to work from home effectively. I will also be doing more youtube videos and webinars to train my team.

The reason I couldn't sleep!
When I first started this business I, like I said before I just thought I was going to be selling Body Magics and that was it. I had no idea what I was in for. As I started digging deeper into the business and attending the trainings and researching the company on the internet I realized that I had stumbled onto something that could possibly change my life. Here is an opportunity to change our future for the better, but I thought "Is this real, are people really making $20,000, $40,000 or even $60,000 a month?" To be totally honest with you I still did not believe it at first.
So as I am hearing all of these amazing stories and learning about the compensation plan and bonuses I was a believer. Hearing that Ardyss pays you ten different ways and one of those ways allows you to make up to $60k, I was sold. All I could think of was who did I know that would love to hear about this opportunity, or who would be interested in these products. I mean who wouldn't love a product that can make you lose up to three dress sizes instantly?!? Not to mention Ardyss has a whole reshaping line of over 19 garments, and a nutritional line that taste good and work great.
Now is the time for me to make my plan, because if you fail to plan you plan to fail. This week I will be hitting the pavement in my neighborhood and exposing them to this business. I will also start learning more about marketing and branding myself . So wish me luck.
